In memory of the sit-in protest
The sit-in at the clock, April 18, 2011
On the 17th of April 2011, the Assad regime forces committed a massacre in the district of Bab Al-Siba’a in the city of Homs, that claimed the lives of a dozen martyrs and sparked an overwhelmingly massive and angry reaction from the residents of the city.

The very next day, after performing the funeral service and prayers for the martyrs, the mourners decided to conduct a Sit-in protest in the city center’s New-Clock square.

This day is of extreme importance, since it was the day that the first sit-in protest was held in Syria aimed at overthrowing the regime. To ensure that we commemorate the anniversary of this Sit-In, we present and show you these exclusive scenes that are being presented for the first time.
