It’s a new Saturday, and it’s a new twitter campaign.
Tomorrow is Eid Al-Adha, a day where people exchange gifts to commemorate the happy occasion.
In Syria, it’s a different story, gifts are either falling from the sky or are penetrating through windows in the speed of light in the from of bullets.
These gifts have so far killed thousands of Syrians.
Many children will not be celebrating Eid this year, either because they had to flee their homes, or because one of their parents (maybe even both) is not around anymore, or maybe because those little boys and girls themselves have received those gifts of bullets straight in the heart..
Join our twitter campaign today at 2:00 pm Damascus time (12:00 pm GMT), and for two hours, tweet about how Syrians this Eid are wishing for #GiftsNotBullets
